Here is a black bay Andalusian that I just finished painting. There is something extraordinary about the Andalusian breed. An abundance of hair, thick muscular neck, dramatic body movement and one of the oldest breeds.
I love horses and their intuitive nature. It's so incredible the relationships we have with these beautiful animals. They allow us to ride them, they tune into our body movements, our physical balance, and look for us to be their leaders.  Horses give us immediate feedback to our actions or attitudes.  It's quite an interesting responsibility and journey of discovery into our own personality, and that of our partner the horse.
